What is a "notice of eviction"?
A notice of eviction is a written notice from a marshal or sheriff warning a tenant that he or she has to move out.The marshal may perform an eviction or obtain legal possession between the hours of sunrise and sunset, Monday through Friday, except on legal holidays.
The Notice of Eviction must be served the same way as a notice of petition and petition is served.
